        4月29日上午，北一女中很榮幸在暌違近一年後再次迎來來自澳洲新南威爾斯州的法羅、孟若、威廉森及米海盧克四位議員，這也是本校今年首度接待國外議員。透過此次交流，我們期盼增交換彼此對社會及文化的關注與理解之意見。

        活動由陳智源校長與議員代表致詞與互贈禮品揭開序幕，雙方皆表達對後續交流的高度重視及期許。校長在致詞中傳達對於再次接待議員們的榮幸，也期盼在稍後的互動環節中，議員們能分享經驗寶貴的經驗，也能夠同時從使節這邊獲得不同觀點，並提及使節們於今年暑假出訪澳洲的計畫。代表團團長則讚許本校的卓越聲譽，表達希望雙方皆能從對談中獲益良多。接著，由綠衣使節簡報部進行有關臺灣、北一以及使節團的介紹，也分享學生們於課程、社團中經歷的點滴。

        隨後進行分組交流，使節與議員們互相分享兩國的教育制度與日常生活，並且就環境永續、教育及政治等多元議題深入討論。這不僅讓我們更加了解澳洲，也使我們對相關議題有了更深層的見解。當我們分享自己的生涯規劃時，議員們也給予肯定與鼓勵，強調追尋夢想與相信自我的重要性。在輕鬆愉快的氛圍中，交流漸入尾聲。

        最後，使節們和四位澳洲議員於光復樓車寄前拍攝大合照，為本次活動留下美好紀念，同時畫下圓滿句點。雖然交流時間有限，但我們相信，每位參與者在對談中都收穫滿滿，不僅加深了對臺澳差異的理解，更拓展了國際視野，一同於本次交流活動中留下許多深刻的見解及回憶。

On the morning of April 29, Taipei First Girls’ High School (TFG) was honored to welcome four members of parliament (MPs) from New South Wales, Australia: Scott Farlow, Jacqui Munro, Richie Williamson, and Tania Mihailuk. This marked the school’s first reception of international legislators this year. The exchange aimed to foster greater understanding of each other’s societies and cultures.

The event commenced with remarks and a gift exchange between Principal Chen and Mr. Farlow, both expressing high expectations for the event. Principal Chen noted the honor in hosting the delegation again, hoping that the following conversation would serve as a platform for the MPs to share their valuable experiences and gain different perspectives from the ambassadors. He also mentioned the ambassadors’ upcoming visit to Australia this summer. Mr. Farlow acclaimed the outstanding reputation of TFG and expressed hope for acquiring meaningful insights. Following the speeches, the presentation team of the ambassadors gave a brief introduction to Taiwan, TFG, and the ambassadors, as well as shared highlights of our academic and extracurricular experiences at TFG.

Next was the group discussion session, where the ambassadors and the MPs exchanged views on education and daily life in Taiwan and Australia. We also discussed a wide range of topics, such as environmental sustainability and politics. These conversations not only deepened our understanding of Australian society but also changed our outlook on global issues. When we shared our future plans, the MPs encouraged us to pursue our dreams and reminded us to have confidence in ourselves. In a relaxed atmosphere, the exchange gradually drew to a close.

In the end, a group photo was taken in front of the Guang-Fu Building, marking a perfect conclusion. Although the exchange was brief, it was rich in content. Through in-depth conversations with the parliamentarians, participants gained a clearer understanding of the differences between Taiwan and Australia and broadened their horizons. The event left all involved with lasting insights and meaningful memories.
